Aashi Manohar : The Founder



Aashi Manohar was brought up in Bhopal, the capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh and graduated with an MA in Hindi Literature.
Since his student days he has been a poet, a writer, an actor and a director, a film maker and a journalist.
His films include documentaries, short films & ethnographic ones. He has received state awards for several of his films. Besides
this, Aashi has run centers for developing creativity amongst children, & used to publish an art journal, Rangsandhan & a daily
news paper, Digant. He has been actively involved with the crafts movement in the State & has served on consultative committees
on a variety of arts, culture, film & environment related subjects.
